PELOPONNESE, an entire world that due to its multiform is open to all kinds of holidays all year round.
From the peaceful seaside of the Corinthian gulf, to the long hot sandy beaches of the West coast, the charming castles, the mansions and the cottages found into the thick forests, to the rocks of Mani, Peloponnese charms its visitors.
Achaia, Ilia, Argolis, Arcadia, Corinthia, Lakonia, Messenia. Seven prefectures, each one with its own beauty compose the magnificent landscape of Peloponnese with impressive sights, important museums and archaeological sites, stunning beaches and imposing mountains.
The Corinthian Gulf separates it from the rest of Greece.
A lace trimmed shoreline, evergreen hillsides rising steeply to the fir, covered mounts of Zereia and Helmos. Erymanthos lies further along and, deep in the heart of the Peloponnese, beautiful Mainalon. Further south, Taygetos, the tallest mountain, and eastwards Parnonas. Long rivers flow through its veins, and fertile plains surrounded by the sea. Large gulfs protected from winds hug the beautiful towns of Nafplion, Gytheion, Kalamata, Sparti.
Large settlements grew in the Peloponnese fairy early. On the hill of Mycenae lay the centre of a culture which spread to the whole of Greece. Sparta was linked with the historic march of the region.
In Epidavros, an encounter with Sophocles, Euripides and Aeschylus is renewed annually. Historic monasteries, renowned forts impressing by their mass in Methone, Korone and Pylos, legendary Mani and the dreamlike caves of Dyros, Byzantine cities at Mystra and Monemvasia, amidst endless greenery and blue seas, join forces to make your vacation unforgettable.
